Bodies and useless tanks are scattered on the streets of Bucha

A street view of Bucha

Bucha, a suburb near the Ukrainian capital Kiev, is one of the first cemeteries of Russia's hopes. Russia wanted to enter the capital, Kiev, and seize it first, then oust President Vladimir Zelensky's government.

The moment came two or three days after February 24, when Russian forces invaded Ukraine and destroyed an entire column of Russian tanks and armored vehicles as Russian forces were passing through Bucha to Kiev. Given

The convoy was one of the first attacks in Ukraine to wreak havoc on Russia's advance.

Our team was able to reach Bucha when Russia withdrew its last troops on Friday, and the Kremlin used its strategy as a calm and prudent decision to focus on the invade in eastern Ukraine. Presented on

Without any evidence or credibility, Moscow says it has achieved its invade objectives in central Ukraine, and its objectives have never been to seize Kiev.

The truth is that unexpectedly fierce and organized resistance from Ukraine stopped Russian forces out of the capital, as evidenced by the rusty and torn armor of the column that is still lying there in the suburbs. They were destroyed in the street.

Locals say they have not eaten bread for weeks

Only two or three weeks after the start of the invade did the Russian aggression slow down. And you can find the answer on the streets of Bucha about why this happened.

Elite Russian Air Force troops boarded armored vehicles that were light enough to be carried by air. They boarded the vehicles and entered the area. They arrived at Hostomall Airport, a few miles away, which had been captured by Russian parachutists who had landed by helicopter on the first day of the attack. Even then, there was fierce resistance from Ukrainian forces.

As the troops passed Bucha on their way to Kio, they were shocked.

The road here is narrow and straight which can be said to be an ideal place for ambush. Witnesses said Ukrainians attacked the convoy with barracks drones purchased from Turkey. Other neighbors said that Ukraine's regional defense volunteers were also present in the area.

However, they did so and targeted the first and last vehicles, almost encircling the armored vehicles. The wreckage has not yet been touched. Belts of 30 mm cannonballs lie on the edge of the grass, along with many dangerous and damaged edges of the decree.

Locals said the young soldiers fled, begging for their lives so that they would not be handed over to Ukraine's regional defense. A 70-year-old man who calls himself Uncle Harisha said: 'I feel sorry for him. He was very young, 18 to 20 years old and his whole life was in front of him.

It seems that when the Russians prepared to expel Bucha, they did not have such compassion. When Ukrainian troops entered the town, they found at least 20 dead on the street. Some of them had their hands tied behind their backs. The mayor said he had buried 280 people in mass graves.

The few citizens who stopped there said they tried not to face the Russians. They were cooking on wood outside their Khrushchev-era flats because their gas, electricity and water supplies had been cut off.

Volunteers are delivering supplies from western Ukraine, or at least geographically far from invade.

"This is the first loaf of bread we've eaten in 38 days," said Maria, looking at the plastic bags, which contained some modest buns. His daughter Larissa took me on a tour of the Soviet-era apartments.

Many who had moved to safer areas, or abroad, had closed the security gates. The Russians broke the concrete lintels and tore down the door frames.

Ukraine's pride, the world's largest shipwreck

Signs of devastation can be seen a few miles away at the Hostel Airport. Russian air force was trying to use it as a base to enter Kyiv.

In the beginning, the world's largest transport plane crashed. The roof of the shed was cracked and had bullet holes in it. The plane itself, known in Ukrainian as Khwab (Maria), broke from the waist, and lay in a state of disrepair, with large pieces of its body and engine lying around. The result is an example of what is happening in Ukraine.

It should be noted that a huge amount of money was invested in the plane for national pride as a symbol of Ukraine's ability to make big projects all over the world.
