After nearly 40 months of shutdown in Pakistan, YouTube reopened in January this year when YouTube launched the local version of Pakistan. Speaking to the BBC on the occasion, Tania Idros of Google Asia Pacific said, It has to happen. It may be recalled that YouTube was launched in January this year after a 40-month shutdown in Pakistan when YouTube launched the local version of Pakistan.
